Ancient strategy for modern focus
Sun Tzu Daily turns The Art of War into practical one-minute lessons for modern decisions — every lesson pairs the real quotation with an interpretation you can actually use, a concrete application, and an interactive exercise. Not a quote site: a method.
Pick your goal
I want to make better decisions
Calculation before commitment, honest self-assessment, and pre-set triggers for action.I want to compete more effectively
Choose the battlefield, strike weakness, and win contests you did not have to fight.I want to negotiate better
Preparation, incentives, timing, and knowing your walk-away before the meeting.I lead a team
Clear intent, earned loyalty, morale as a resource — management under pressure.I invest
Capital preservation first, patience, and acting only when conditions favor you. Then Risk and Timing.I run a business
Positioning, information advantage, and winning without draining the firm. Then Positioning.

How Sun Tzu Daily works
Every day, one lesson. Each lesson is a fixed page with the same shape:
- The quotation — the real passage from the Lionel Giles translation, with chapter and the original Chinese where it exists.
- The reading — what it means, where it sits in the chapter, and the misreading to avoid.
- The application — one thing to do with it today.
- The exercise — a one-minute game that makes you play the principle, because reading is not the same as using.
Start from today’s lesson, work the guide for your goal, and let the archive backfill the rest. The history page covers who Sun Tzu actually was when the sources are quiet; editorial standards covers how we keep the text honest.
