Today’s Sun Tzu
“Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look upon them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death.”
Sun Tzu · The Art of War · Chapter 10: Terrain
Loyalty is earned by care, not commanded.
What it means

Authority without care produces compliance, not loyalty. Sun Tzu’s advice is that people will follow through hardship when they feel genuinely cared for. Leadership is a relationship of trust, not just the issuing of orders.

Use it todayShow genuine care for one person on your team today — not for what they produce, but for who they are.
